Wedding Considerations

The American summer is when most weddings take place. The weather is the biggest factor. Many brides desire an outside wedding. The brides must take in to consideration many things when planning a wedding. Brides to be are very anxious and overwhelmed at this time in their lives and may need a little help in planning their wedding. If you are a very busy bride you may want to hire someone to plan your wedding for you. If you insist on doing it all yourself at least enlist the help of a family member or close friend. If you decide to plan the wedding yourself here are some things you need to do.

First you need to set a date and time. You should make sure you set the date far enough in advance that family members and friends can get the day off of work or fly in if need be. You also need to find a venue (a place to have the wedding). Next you will need to order invitations and send them out. The invitations need to be sent out at least a month before the wedding. This is to give everyone time to receive their invitation and rsvp.

Once you have concluded with the preparations it is time to start planning the actual wedding. Everyone in the wedding party needs to order their dresses or tuxedos. The bride should order her dress as soon as possible, sometimes you may need alterations. You will also need to decide on the colors you want for your wedding and buy the decorations. The bride will also need to choose someone to cater the event. The caterer will usually give you a few different meals to choose from. If the caterer isn't supplying the cake you need to get it ordered as well.

The day before the wedding you need make sure your venue is decorated. The wedding day will be very busy, so make sure the dresses and tuxedos are picked up the day before. Often grooms and brides are presenting their bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts at the wedding rehearsal and before the wedding day itself.  This is a good idea for most people.  The day of the wedding the bride needs to get her hair and nails done, schedule an appointment a couple weeks in advance. If needed the groom should also schedule an appointment to get his hair cut or trimmed. The bridal party should get to the wedding venue at least an hour early, even earlier if there wasn't a rehearsal the night before. When you arrive just relax and get dressed for your wedding.

Planning a wedding is a lot of work. The earlier you start the more prepared you will be. Everything will go the way it is planned so just relax and enjoy your day.
